Formation of the New Executive Committee of the Chittagong University Alumni Federation of USA

On October 26, 2025, the election process for the new Executive Committee of the Chittagong University Alumni Federation of USA was successfully completed. The newly elected 19-member committee will serve a two-year term for 2026–2027.
The newly elected President and General Secretary are Raihanul Islam Chowdhury and Mohammad Saifur Rahman Chowdhury Tipu, respectively.
Other elected officials include:
• Vice Presidents: Syed Moin, Jamshed Hossain, Md. Maula Dilu
• Joint Secretaries: Pratap Chandra Shil, Lutfun Bhuiya Hena
• Treasurer: Ikramul Baki
• Organizing Secretary: Mohammad Huda
• Press, Media & Publication Secretary: Ehsan Jewel
• Education & Cultural Secretary: Mohammad Kamal
• Social Welfare Secretary: Amana Rashid
Seven members have been appointed as Executive Members: Chunnu Zaman, Sarowar Kamal, Abdul Wahed Mahfuz, Mostafa Amin Khokon, Saber Chowdhury, Mohammad Sarware Hossain Farid, and Ahmed Shahid.
The three-member Election Commission officially announced the names of the new office bearers. The process began during the Federation’s second convention held in Boston last August, with participation from various state alumni associations.
The newly elected committee has pledged to strengthen coordination among Chittagong University alumni across different states in the USA, enhance organizational activities, and introduce new programs. Additionally, the committee aims to take initiatives to support Bangladeshi students pursuing higher education. They have committed to announcing and implementing an annual plan and programs soon, seeking the cooperation of all Chittagong University alumni residing in the USA.
