The Chittagong University Alumni Association of USA (CUAUSA) is a nonprofit organization serving alumni of the University of Chittagong living in the United States. We value transparency and integrity in all our operations, including financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be granted for donations, event registrations, and membership fees.

1. Donations
All donations made to CUAUSA are considered final and non-refundable. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our members and supporters to fund our programs and initiatives. Please ensure you review your donation amount and details before submitting the transaction.

Exception:
If you believe a donation was made in error or in the case of a duplicate transaction, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. Refunds in such cases will be reviewed and issued at the discretion of the CUAUSA Finance Committee.

2. Event Registration Fees
Event registration payments (including for conventions, reunions, and seminars) may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

• Full Refund: If requested at least 14 days before the event start date.
• Partial Refund (50%): If requested within 7–13 days before the event.
• No Refund: If requested less than 7 days before the event or in case of a no-show.

Refund Process:
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@cuausa.org with proof of payment and reason for the refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days and returned to the original payment method.

3. Membership Fees
Annual or lifetime membership fees paid to CUAUSA are non-refundable except in cases of accidental duplicate payments. If you believe you have made an overpayment, please contact us within 7 days to request a correction.

4. Cancellation or Postponement by CUAUSA
If CUAUSA cancels or postpones an event, all registered attendees will be notified via email. Refund options or credit toward future events will be offered accordingly.
