Chittagong University Alumni -USA Convention held on October 5, 2019 at Southfork Ranch, Dallas, Texas. There are approximately 1200 alumni family members and guests attended the program. Senior Alumni and Ex-Lecturer Shahid Uddin Mahmud inaugurated the Convention at 12:00 noon and Raihanul Islam Chowdhury, President and Convenor started the program with welcome speech. In the first half of the convention from 12:00noon to 7:00pm included speeches, memory recollection (smrity charon), various state alumni chapter reporting, rabindra sangeet, nazrul geety, poems recitation (kabita abriti) classical dance, etc. Then chittagong mezban dinner was served. In the second half of the program( 8:45pm to 1:15am) included musical program by Miles band, Samina Chowdhury, Tapan Chowdhury, Tajul Imam and other local artist.
